EDX provides several ways to manage access to application features and documents. With groups, you can specify the application features, partner groups, partner IDs, and Organizations IDS for a group of users instead of individual users. You can create new groups and modify settings of existing groups.
The Users page displays a list of user accounts available for your user privileges. Everyone who needs to access and use the EDX application must be added as a user.
Partners represent the communication addresses EDX uses to exchange data. Understanding partners enables efficient configuration, management, and filtering of partner information for accurate communication and streamlined business processes.
In EDI, a cross-reference table maps data elements between two different EDI standards or between an EDI standard and a company's internal data format. It provides a translation between the data elements used in one format and those used in another.
