Introduction to groups

EDX provides several ways to manage access to application features and documents. With groups, you can specify the application features, partner groups, partner IDs, and Organizations IDS for a group of users instead of individual users. You can create new groups and modify settings of existing groups.

  • Creating new groups
    Create a group to customize access to application features and documents for a set of users. With the groups feature, you can manage password policy and enable or disable multi-factor authentication for the users of a group.
  • External partner access
    EDX supports onboarding and application access for non-EDX customers, enabling efficient electronic data exchange.
  • Viewing the list of groups
    The company EDX administrator can create groups that represent customers. Only the group users can access documents relating to a group.
  • Modifying groups
    The Group info dialog displays information about the selected group settings.
