Partners

Partners represent the communication addresses EDX uses to exchange data. Understanding partners enables efficient configuration, management, and filtering of partner information for accurate communication and streamlined business processes.

Introduction

The real communication addresses EDX is communicating with are the partners. These can be internal partners representing the in-house systems connected to EDX or external partners representing the communication addresses of your EDI partners or the clearing center.

Prerequisites

The following permissions are required to view the Partners page in EDX:

Your assigned group in EDX must have the Partners feature enabled.
Your assigned role in EDX must have the View permission enabled in the Partners section.

Overview

The Partners table is customizable. You can sort, rearrange, and show or hide columns in the Partners table.

To show or hide columns, click the vertical ellipsis, click Show columns, and then select or clear necessary checkboxes. To show all the columns, click Show all. To restore the table to the default selection, click Restore default.

You can filter all the columns of the Partners table. When you apply a filter, the column name and the filter value appear on the table header. Click the Close button on a filter to remove a filter from the list. Click the Clear filters button to clear all filters.
