Customizing the EDX application

Choose the landing page and dashboard you want to see after logging in to the EDX application, enable or disable display and partner names, and edit display names in the Application customization section.

Prerequisites

You must log in to the EDX application.

Procedure

  1. Click your profile picture, which is in the upper-right corner of the window, then choose User preferences.
  2. On the User preferences dialog, click Application customization.
  3. Update the relevant details in the Application customization section and click Save.
    Setting Action
    Landing page Select a page you want to see after logging in to the EDX application.
    Default dashboard Select a dashboard you want to see when you navigate to the Dashboards page. You can select from the list of dashboards you have access to and the ones you have created.
    Use partner names To enable partner names on the Documents page, set Use partner names to On.
    Use display names To convert the current names of entities on the Documents page to a more readable form, set Use partner names to On. For more information about display names, see Display names.
    Edit display names Click to edit the display names of your Organization IDs, Partners, Partner groups, Type, and Stage. For more information about editing display names, see Editing display names.
