Document life cycle

This feature helps you to view the collection of documents for a complete business process (for example, purchase order, order confirmation, dispatch advice, invoice, and so on).

You must have the View permission for the Document lifecycle parameter to see and filter a list of grouped documents. For more information about permissions and parameters, see Role management.
  1. Click Document lifecycle.
  2. Click Select rule.
    The EDX administrator configures rules that you can choose from.
  3. Under Configured rules, select a rule and click Apply.
    The Document lifecycle page lists the documents that match the selected rule. The Document count column shows the number of associated documents.
  4. Click the eye icon () on a row to view the lifecycle details.

    You can click the document tiles on the right pane to view the document details.
